Cheesy, flavourful and simple, this is the pizza innovation we’ve all been waiting for! This creamy dip is packed with the flavour of a classic pizza with a gooey texture that lends itself perfectly to crunchy crackers, tortillas, thick potato chips or even sliced baguette.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
Add pepperoni and garlic (if using) and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
Stir in flour, oregano, basil, hot pepper flakes and salt; cook for 1 minute.
Gradually add milk and whisk until smooth and combined. Cook, stirring for about 3 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese and pizza sauce until cheese is melted. Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with olives (if using) to serve.
