Dairy farmers celebrated at Leafs opening game, along with other essential workers

The Toronto Maple Leafs were honoured to have essential workers introduce their players and coaching staff as part of the 2021 hockey opening night festivities on Jan. 13, 2021.

The video celebrated the diversity and importance of a wide range of essential workers who have demonstrated hard work and determination during the global pandemic.

Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) recognizes the importance of the dairy farming industry, and were honoured to invite Jackson Forbes and John Werry, Ontario dairy producers, to introduce Justin Holl and Joe Thornton, Leafs players, respectively.
