Dairy Farmers of Ontario is the marketing group for the largest sector of Ontario agriculture and is proudly owned and operated by Ontario's dairy farm families. We’re a non-profit organization, representing approximately 3,500 Ontario dairy farms.

What we do

We currently employ almost 100 people, 80% of whom work at our head office in Mississauga, Ontario, with the remainder working in home offices across the province. Our team comprises of Finance, IT, Economics, Operations, Marketing, Communications, Government Relations, Legal, HR and Administrative Services.

Dairy Educator

Dairy Farmers of Ontario is looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who exhibit flexibility in an ever-changing environment. The ideal candidates will possess strong knowledge of the dairy industry and have experience working with children in a classroom setting.

Dairy educators are responsible for the promotion, coordination, and implementation of the local dairy education program in a specified region. Dairy educators create and conduct live and/or virtual school presentations to elementary level students on various dairy-related topics. The dairy education program offers opportunities to grow through training and new challenges. It is anticipated the dairy educator would work four to five days per week throughout the school year.
