Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine strawberries and sugar. Let stand for at least 15 minutes at room temperature or up to overnight in the fridge.
Step 2
In blender, combine milk, macerated strawberries and basil. Blend until liquified. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Serve over ice.
